In 1963, Dom Barron is the typical bad boy loner who is the friend and crush of Samantha 'Sam' Randall.
He was into the drag racing, drinking and cutting classes. He is infiltrating the institution to find Sam, trying to rescue her but discovered Sam's brain which was dead. He gives Sam a goodbye kiss and completely smothers her with a pillow; dumping her into the river and left, after he longingly confuses about Sam's boyish appearance.
In 2007, Dom was an elder man who spends a lot of time to paint a lot more pictures.
In the end, he was arrested while he saw Sam up there and they share a smile of understanding.
