Shotaro Ishinomori is born on January 25, 1938. His star sign is Aquarius and his Chinese zodiac is Tiger. He is a Japanese manga artist and cartoonist. He is known as a King of Manga! He is known as the assistant of Osamu Tezuka.
He is one of the most prolific creators in the history of anime, tokusatsu and Japanese superhero fiction. He draws these Cyborg 009, Super Sentai series (later adapted into the fit of Rangers series) and Kamen Rider series.
He had drawn the comparisons as known of being a manga counterpart to both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby; he has been cited by these manga artists named Katsuhiro Otomo, Naoki Urasawa, Go Nagai, Kazuhiko Shimamoto, Keiko Takemiya, Moto Hagio, Taiyo Matsumoto, Tetsuya Chiba and Tetsuo Hara. That would involve the cases: Keiko Takemiya called Shotaro Ishinomori a "flag - bearer of our time". Moto Hagio cited his influence on her drawing technique, stating that his images were 'truly marvelous'. One of Osamu's former assistants, Shigeto Ishihara, states Shotaro, to be one of the two cartoonists that Osamu Tezuka must be truly jealous of (the other being named Katsuhiro).
At least, Shotaro Ishinomori is the one who draws the new manga story called The Skull Man after he had drawn everywhere of manga!
